Vitus (2006) Movie Review

Vitus (pronounced Veetus) is a fictional story starring the real life piano prodigy Teo Gheorghiu. We are taken into his world as we follow Vitus from his early childhood to early teens as the film effortlessly moves through time in a way that is quite unique. He is extremely gifted and talented, both musically with the piano and academically. His parents place enormous pressure on him to succeed so he finds solace with his grandfather to escape. Through a plan that is pure genius he finds his place in life while positively shaping the lives of his loved ones.

This movie was very pleasant to watch with outstanding piano music. We can all live our childhood dreams through Vitus! The movie is in Swiss German and has English subtitles.
